We have thirteen industrial-grade air-cooling units, each with their own independent Lycol feeds providing 300 tons of cooling and moisture control. Due to our facilities 40 foot ceilings, only five of these units running at no more than 50 percent capacity are required to cool the entire Data Center.
Climate control plays a particularly important role in terms of service availability and energy costs. Although server performance is not particularly enhanced, high-efficiency climate control solutions offer the added security benefits and greater efficiency of an optimum environment. This saves equipment costs as well as energy and service costs while helping to minimize the impact on the earth’s environment through resource and CO2 savings.
