We have lined our walls with Thermolite , an insulator commonly found in very large refrigerated warehouses. Thermolite has an insulation value of R84 and it provides thermal insulation equivalent of 84 sheets of glass, keeping our Data Center at a stable 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Climate control plays a particularly important role in terms of service availability and energy costs. Although server performance is not particularly enhanced, high-efficiency climate control solutions offer the added security benefits and greater efficiency of an optimum environment. This saves equipment costs as well as energy and service costs while helping to minimize the environmental impact via resource and CO2 savings.
